End of day 2!

So I've now been at rockin' Camp IAWAH for 1.5 day, and its been AWESOME!

Highlights:
  • Spending Tuesday afternoon in the water learning to kneeboard and water ski;
  • How everyone is super friendly and fun and how the fact that i'm on average 8 years older than most staff doesn't matter (they all think i'm 25... except my cabin ladies, who now refer to me as the big sister/mom;
  • Tying an egg to an inverted paper cup parachute-like with straws will NOT protect said egg on impact when egg is shot out of a catapult;
  • My Ipod (IAWAH pod), basically a mini-Bible study group, ROCKS. I totally got the best one. Blue rocks!!
Lowlights:
  • Only one so far: rolling my ankle while attempting a front flip on the trampoline (didn't quite stick the landing... sigh) Meaning i have to sit out on the night hike tonight, poopy! Oh well, more quiet time for me, and less getting eaten by bugs. Have to see the good side, really!
Three more days until my first "escape" home. I can't believe how attached i am to camp already. It's crazy!

Marshmallow-roastingly yours,
G
