Hey everyone,
I apologize for the lack of updates in the past week, camp staff internet has been down since last Saturday. Things are still going well, there are definitely personality-related challenges with the CREW kids, but overall, it's a very positive experience. Plus my old roomie Steph's on board on the leadership team, which is awesome. I'm gonna miss our late-night chats after this week!
I now have a rather good knowledge of camp dining hall/wash house/bathroom/gym/(fill in the blank) cleaning, and we've had really good chats with the kids about identity, hardships, character, modesty, relationships... i hope that if telling bits and pieces of my story can help at least one girl feel better/more confident/enpowered, then i'll have succeeded.
Okay, have to run! Time to make the most of my two full days left here in wonderful Iawah.
